This Privacy Policy explains how Reon Infra Soft LLP ("Reon Infra Soft", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use the Shaadi Nest mobile application, website and related services (collectively, the "Services").

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account information, including your mobile number and one-time-password verification details.
• Profile information, such as your name, age/date of birth, gender, preferences, religion/community, education, occupation, marital and family details, location, biography and other matchmaking information you choose to provide.
• Photos and other content you upload, messages and chat content, likes, matches, reports and support communications.
• Payment or subscription information, if paid features are introduced. Payment card details are processed by the applicable app store or payment provider and are not stored directly by us.

Information collected automatically

• Device and app information such as device type, operating system, app version, identifiers, language, IP address, crash and diagnostic information.
• Approximate or precise location when you grant permission, used to provide nearby profiles and map-based features. You can change location permission in device settings.
• Usage information such as screens viewed, feature interactions and security events.
• Push notification token when notifications are enabled.

2. How we use information

• Create and secure your account, verify your mobile number and provide the Services.
• Display your profile to suitable users and personalize recommendations, matches and location-based discovery.
• Enable communication, likes, reports and other social features.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, harassment and violations of our Terms; investigate reports and protect users.
• Provide support, send service communications and improve performance and reliability.
• Comply with law, enforce agreements and establish or defend legal claims.

3. Legal grounds and consent

Where applicable, we process information to perform our contract with you, based on your consent (including device permissions), for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services, and to meet legal obligations. You may withdraw device permissions at any time, although some features may stop working.

4. How information is shared

• Other users: Profile details, photos and activity intended for matchmaking are visible to other users according to the product's functionality and your settings.
• Service providers: We may use hosting, database, authentication/OTP, cloud storage, maps, analytics, notifications, moderation and customer-support providers that process information for us.
• Legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, prevent harm or protect rights and safety.
• Business transactions: Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, restructuring or sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information for money.

5. Third-party services

The Services may use third-party technologies including Google Maps, Firebase/Google cloud services, Expo services, mobile notification services and OTP delivery providers. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy notices where they act independently.

6. Data retention

We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. After an account-deletion request, we delete or anonymize information within a reasonable period, except where retention is necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backups or legal obligations. Some information shared with other users, such as messages, may remain visible to them where required for conversation integrity and safety.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. You can update certain profile details in the app, control permissions in device settings, or follow our account deletion instructions. We may verify your identity before completing a request.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

Shaadi Nest is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly allow children to create accounts. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.

10. International processing

Information may be processed in India and in other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy. We will post the revised version here, update the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
